The business was founded in 1972 by Hugh Thompson. It has developed by organic growth and acquisition to it's current size of £8M turnover operating 60 vehicles.

Peter Carroll has been a Director of Seymour Transport for over 10 years, and became Managing Director in 2006. Peter says:

"Our success has been built on sound principles of good value, good service, and integrity. However sophisticated the transport world has become we still adhere to these basic principles."
